OK, considering that my characters name is Max Rockatansky (Mad Max, anyone?), I really need to have the Wanderer's Leather armor. It just fits my character so awfully good.
But here's the catch. I can't find it! I followed the guide in the article (don't know how to hyperlink but it's the article for the Wanderer's Leather Armor)and I ran around in circles for 30 min. without finding ANYTHING but critters and Enclave encounters. The article's guide is kind of stupid, it just says that the Wanderer (which carries/wears the armor, duh) is found between Paradise Falls and Roosevelt Academy directly north of a car pile. THERE ARE A LOT OF GODDAMN CAR PILES THERE, IT LIES CLOSE TO A HIGHWAY BRIDGE! :(
Some help please? Anyone?
I think A Wanderer, who wears the wanderer's leather armour, is a random encounter. That's how I got it, anyway.

- Are you sure? I think the article states that it is a stationary encounter that only happens in one place (like the Roach King). At least that is what I have thought, since it doesn't say it's a random encounter... Where did you get it? AngryNorwegianDude 10:33, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
I have found it in the same place on every playthrough. Go to Paradise Falls and head west, past the small, deep trench there should be a small pool and on the other side and east to west track, looks like a riverbed. Follow this until you reach 2 or 3 large rocks arranged on either side of the gully, he should be very near here with several vicious dogs. - Well, uh... I went west from Paradise Falls, and after some time I found a small pool of irradiated water, which indeed seemed to be situated in a riverbed. Enthusiastically, I followed it, until I ended up at a place called Drowned Devil's Crossing. The riverbed stopped here, because of a bridge (which it hang a mutilated body on). I turned around and saw a group of three raider guard dogs and a trailer. Swiftly dispatching them, I went into the truck to find a skill book and some ammo. When I came out, a raider with a rocket launcher and some other thugs armed with lead pipes decided to take a whack at me (pun intended). After making kielbasa of every single one (meet my trusty friend, mister Chinese Assault Rifle, bitches!) it occurred to me that I hadn't even seen the infamous Wanderer... Where did I go wrong? This is kind of funny, because I accidentally stumbled upon him and didn't realize he was a unique encounter until I saw the armor on his corpse. It's been a couple weeks now since I've played, so I don't remember exactly where I found him. --MadDawg2552 19:45, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
